The Sambiya River Lodge is in located in Murchison Falls National Park and is only 20 minutes’ drive from the top of the Falls on the southern side of the park. It is an eye catching lodge with a unique ambience and experience. The lodge blends in savannah plain and dense forest that supports a variety of wildlife. When in Murchison falls witness the world’s strongest waterfalls where the Nile River plunges into a 7-meter gorge with a depth of about 45-meter drop forming the scenic thunderous falls.

The open fronted lodge allows a panoramic view of hills as well as game viewing along the Sambiya River. The surrounding area is known for viewing numerous species of birds and birders can come along with binoculars.

Sambiya River Lodge has practices eco-tourism. Solar water heaters provide warm showers. Clients are advised to carry flashlights and extra batteries with them on safari

The twenty thatched cottages include either one or two bedrooms with twin or double beds. The 26 bedrooms have private bathroom facilities as well as a veranda. Sambiya has twelve thatched bandas some of which that share bathroom facility blocks and three self-contained bandas. Meals are always served at the Lodge dining area outside of the rooms. Those staying in the bandas have close access to the Lodge swimming pool.
