Kibale National Park is located in south Western Uganda with 766 square kilometres in size and is located between 1,100 metres to 1,600 metres in elevation.
The Chimpanzees in Kibale National Park are over 1000 and the park is also known as the primate capital of the world. The rainforest of Kibale has over 13 primates such as the vervet Monkeys, Colobus Monkey and Grey-cheeked Mangabey 13 other rare primates.
Chimp permits should be booked in advance to secure your tracking experience. Kibale forest is also a good spot for chimpanzee habituation which gives you much time with the chimps in their jungle and this can also be booked on request
Semuliki National Park with a Size of 220km² with an altitude of 670 to 760m above sea level.
It is found in Bwamba County in Western Uganda in Bundibugyo district just near Fort portal town 70 km. Semuliki National Park harbours an extension of Congo’s Ituri Rainforest.
Semuliki Forest Reserve history runs back to the year 1932 when it was created and later on gazetted to Semuliki national park in 1993. The park is home to over 441 birds and 52 mammals.
Four ethnic groups live near the park that is Bwamba along the base of the Rwenzori while the Bakonjo cultivate the mountain slopes. Batuku cattle keepers in the open plains and batwa pygmies traditionally hunter gathers, live on the edge of the forest.
Semuliki National Park is home to over 52 species of mammals such as buffalos, vervet monkeys, elephants, white tailed mongoose, over 400 bird species in diversity of tree species. Semuliki national park also known to be a good birding for bird lovers, birds such as the Congo serpent Eagle, Long Tailed Hawk, Nkulengu Rail, Black Wattled Hornbill, Red billed Helmet shrike, Ituri Batis and the black winged starling among other birds that may be sighted.
sempaya hot springs is a magnificent female hot springs have high temperatures of about 100 degrees Celsius and this is as a result of geothermal energy beneath the earth’s crust. Semuliki is also home to a male hot spring that is also worth visiting. The hot springs can of boil eggs and this is usually tried out by clients.
Thatched huts are shaded by West African oil palms; the Semliki River. While Simulink’s species have been increasing in number for over 25,000 years, the Hot springs that are believed to have formed the last 14 million years.
Lake Mburo National Park is smallest among Uganda’s park and its located in western part of the country along Kampala – Mbarara High way in the districts of (Mbarara, Isingiro) Lake Mburo National park is also blessed with over 5 lakes with in the national park, that is both open lakes and swampy lakes and the park forms partly a 50km-long wetland system linked by a swamp There is also diversity of flora and fauna. Expect to see zebras since the park is also known for its Zebras, Antelopes like the topi and elands, Hippos, crocs and a number of bird species
The park is 370 square kilometers with an elevation is at 1,220m – 1,828m above sea level. Wetland habitats comprise 20% of the park’s surface and being on of Uganda’s savannah national parks and underlain by ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks which date back more than 500 million years. Once covered by open savanna, Lake Mburo National Park now contains much woodland. In the western part of the park, the savanna is occupied with rocky ridges and forested gorges as well as lush vegetation
Day 1 Airport Pick up and Transfer to the Hotel
Travel time the Airport is a few minutes’ drive and about 1 hours drive to hotels in Kampala

You will be welcomed at the Airport and taken to your Hotel in Entebbe/Kampala by Wabs Safaris representative. Your accommodation will depend on your flight arrival time at Entebbe International Airport.
Day 2 Transfer from Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park
Travel time from Kampala to Kibale is 6 – 7 hours

You will be picked by our driver guide from your Hotel/Residence in Entebbe/Kampala and transfer from Kampala/Entebbe early after breakfast and you will proceed to Kibale Forest National Park in south western Uganda. Kibale Forest National Park is 766 square kilometres in size and is located between 1,100 metres to 1,600 metres in elevation. Through the country side and serenity, you will stopover for lunch in Fort Portal town, close to Kibale National Park. The town gives you a serene scenic view of the Rwenzori mountain ranges. After your lunch, drive to your accommodation
Day 3 Morning Chimpanzee Tracking with a Transfer to Semuliki National Park for the Female Hot Springs Visit and Back to the Hotel

After your early morning breakfast, we shall head to the vistor center for briefing about your chimpanzee experience in Kibale forest. By 7:30 am begin to walk into Kibale National Park, after tracking the chimps with ranger guides when you come face to face with the chimps and observe them for 1 hour. Kibale forest is also famously known as the primate capital of the world, with the highest population of Chimpanzees in the world.
Kibale is also home to 13 other primates as such olive baboons, red-tailed, black-and-white colobus, blue monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabey and l’Hoest’s among others. After you tracking experience you will return back to your hotel and have lunch. We shall drive to Semuliki National park and home to the Sempaya Female Hot Springs, visit the Female Hot Spring and while here we shall encounter some experiments of boiling Eggs. After the hot springs we shall drive back to Fort portal town or around Kibale for dinner and overnight. You will later have dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Afternoon Game Drive
Travel time from Kibale or Fort portal to Queen Elizabeth National Park is 2 – 3 hours

After your early morning breakfast at your accommodation you will check out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and check in as you get ready for lunch at the lodge. You will then relax at the lodge and later embark on your afternoon game drive through the park. You will then return to the lodge after watching a number of wildlife, have dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Morning Game Drive, Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel & Evening Scenic Crater Drive

After your early morning breakfast at about 6:00 am. Get ready to discover Kasenyi Plains sighting animals such as Buffaloes, Elephants, Antelopes, Lions, and Hyenas and a diversity of different bird species. After the wildlife drive that takes 3 hours you shall proceed to the lodge. After lunch you shall do a 2 -hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, expect to see more animals such as Hippos in a profusion of Crocodiles, Elephants, Buffaloes, Antelopes at the river banks taking water to reduce the heat and bird species in their natural habitat. Pictures would be memorable on the entire safaris. As you head back to the lodge, you will go through the scenic craters with in the beaten routes of Queen Elizabeth National Park and such spots are also memorable for pictures. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Lake Mburo National Park
Travel time from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Lake Mburo National Park is 3 hours

After breakfast we shall drive to Lake Mburo National Park via Mbarara Town where you will have lunch at the Igongo Cultural center. You will also have an opportunity to tour the Cultural Museum at Igongo. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be in Lake Mburo National Park/town closer to the park
Day 7 Morning Game Walk and Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe with a stopover at the Equator
Travel time from Lake Mburo to Kampala is 4 hours

You will wake up early in the morning and set out have the game walk on foot expecting to sight a number of wildlife, after which we shall return to the lodge to for breakfast, freshen up before being driven to Kampala or Entebbe and along the way we shall have lunch. You will either be dropped off at the airport or hotel depending on your flight schedules and this marks the end of your exciting safaris.
Day 8 Transfer to the Airport from the Hotel
Travel time to the Airport from Kampala is about 1 hours drive and a few minutes’ drive from hotels in Entebbe

Transfer from your hotel after breakfast to Entebbe International Airport. You will be picked from your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe by our representative and taken to Entebbe International Airport.

General Tips on your safaris:
- Health is key all trekkers as its key to have your safari and trek the chimps in a heath condition. Usually clients with infectious diseases like flu are not allowed to track reason being it can easily affect the endangered giant chimps.
- The age limit for chimp tracking is 15 years and above.
- Booking of your gorilla and chimpanzee permits is done in advance in order for you not to miss out on the experience when permits are fully booked.
- A porter can be hired in case you want to be carried for trekking, bags. For the trekking porter or helper, a fee of US$ 15 is charged
- Your flash must be off during photography
- The recommended distance between clients and gorillas is important for safety i.e.7-8 meters away
- Stay in a group during your trekking or tracking experience
- Avoid flash lights during photography
- Don’t make sudden movements or noise
- Optional visit to Bigodi wetlands for a walk is recommended depending on your arrival in Kibale
- Crater lakes visit and Amabere caves cultural experience can also be explored with an extra day.
