Community walks
While on your visit to the mighty sipi falls in kapchorwa blend into a walk around the community, get to know the life style of the people leaving in the area. And it’s awesome because they will take you around the village as you also try out their delicious local dishes worth a mouthwatering local meal
Hiking
While in sipi falls we can choose to hike one or the 3 water falls giving us an amazing hike through the communities amidst different homesteads,
Sipi Falls trail is also a starting point when hiking up Mt. Elgon. Please not that most clients use the trail routes in Mbale that start in Budadiri through the Sasa trail to the summit.
The most popular hike/ trail takes about 20 minutes to the base of the main water fall and while here we can choose to continue hiking to a cluster of caves on the cliff above the river. The largest of these caves extends about 125 meters into the rock. As we head back to the starting point we shall pass the top of the water fall which offers scenic views at different angles.

Coffee experience
On your visit to sipi you can engage into the coffee experience where the local guides of the area take you to one of the coffee farms, while here you shall be taken through the process of coffee planting from its first stage till the final stage of harvest. You will see coffee is roasted, you may choose to eat some and this shows a sign of brother hood. Arabica coffee grows at an altitude of between 1,600 and 1,900 metres
Abseiling
We can also engage in this adrenaline breath taking abseiling adventure activity that involves abseiling on the cliffs around the water fall from the top going down with protective gears and fastened hiking ropes but this time used to go down besides the water fall cliffs downstream. Day 1 Transfer from Kampala or Entebbe to Mbale Town

You will be picked up by our driver from your Hotel or residence in Entebbe/Kampala and drive to Mbale Town via Jinja about Town 2 hours drive. You will have lunch drive to Mbale town in Eastern Uganda. Mbale or Sip town for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Sipi Falls Hike and Coffee Experience

We shall have breakfast and at 8:00 am set out for a hike to the Sipi Falls in Kapchorwa Town. Sipi falls is an iconic attraction in the region, the sipi falls has a series of three scenic waterfalls. The longest with a depth of 100 meters, second waterfall with a depth of 85 meters and the first one with about 70 meters with a plunge pool beneath. After the hiking Sipi Falls you have lunch. And later experience the coffee experience learn how to plant coffee, coffee processing among others. Later return to the lodge relax and have dinner at the lodge.
Day 3 Transfer from Sipi Falls / Mbale Town to Entebbe
Travel Time from Sipi Falls to Entebbe is 4 to 5 hours drive

You will be transferred from Sipi Falls to Kampala or Entebbe with a stopover in either Mbale or Jinja for your Flight or drop off at the hotel.

General Tips on your safaris:
- A porter can be hired in case you want to be carried for trekking, bags. For the trekking porter or helper, a fee of US$ 15 is charged
- Abseiling can be added as an optional activity which involves climbing down the steep slopes of sipi falls with firm equipment fastened to your harness
- Coffee tours may also be added onto your experience
