With a diversity in wildlife that is flora and fauna, there is a lot one can do while on the safari such as Gorilla tracking which is the main Highlight road trips, photography, cultural encounters and exploration in game viewing, bird watching, boat trips and scenic crater drives. Day 1 Transfer from Kampala or Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Travel time from Entebbe or Kampala is 8 hours

Our guide will pick you up from your location in Kampala/Entebbe at 7:00 am and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in south-western Uganda. We shall stop over for lunch, drive to towards Queen Elizabeth National park. Check in at the lodge refresh as you get ready for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Morning Game Drive through the Savannah, Boat Cruise (Kazinga Channel) & Kasenyi Crater Drive
Accommodation: Budget Marafiki Safari Lodge, Midrange: Kasenyi Safari Camp or Buffalo Lodge, Luxury: Kyambura Gorge Lodge
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
You will have morning breakfast at 6:00 am, head out for the morning drive at 6:30 am through Kasenyi Plains with chance of sighting the nocturnal other wildlife such as Elephants along the tracks of Queen Elizabeth, Buffaloes and Antelopes. The landscape was created with scenic crater lakes. Your guide will drive you back to the lodge. After lunch you will head out for the boat safari on the Kazinga Channel sighting a number of wildlife such as Hippos in a profusion of Crocodiles, Elephants, Buffaloes, Antelopes, and a number of bird species such as the African fish eagle, kingfisher and herons. We will also sight the scenic craters of Queen Elizabeth National Park as we drive back to the lodge. Indeed, Uganda is the pearl of Africa. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Did you know Queen Elizabeth National park was renamed after Queen Elizabeth the second in 1952. Hence it was locally known as kazinga national park.
Day 3 Transfer to Bwindi National Park with a Stopover for the Ishasha Game Drive for the Tree-Climbing Lions
Travel time from north of queen Elizabeth to ishasha in the south is 2 hours to Ishasha.
2 to 4 hours to Bwindi depending on the sector and location of the hotel.

You will have your morning breakfast at the best point. Did you know!! Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park is famous Tree Climbing Lions (2 hours drive). You will drive through the beaten routes of the park on the lookout for the tree climbing lions that hang on huge thig umbrella trees. Not forgetting wild life such as Buffaloes, Elephants etc. You will stop over for lunch drive to Bwindi National check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 4 Gorilla Tracking Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Budget & Midrange: Rushaga Gorilla Camp, Luxury: Chameleon Hill Lodge

You will have an early morning breakfast and transfer to the park office centre by 7:30 am. You will be allocated to a Gorilla group, proceed for briefing with the rangers and start trekking into Bwindi the Impenetrable forest. We shall trek and track the giant gorilla family for about 3 to 4 hours or less and usually you will be given 1 hour to see the gorillas as they do their everyday routine activities. Return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.
After your gorilla trekking experience, we shall head back to the information centre for our gorilla trekking certificates.
Brief about Bwindi
Bwindi National Park, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a home to more than half of the endangered giant mountain gorillas left in the world and it covers about 321 square km between 1,160 meters and 2,600 meters above sea level. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park has 4 gorilla tracking sectors that is Buhoma in the north, Ruhija in the east; Rushaga in the south and lastly Nkuringo in the south west. And with about 19 habituated gorilla families.
Day 5 Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Kampala/Entebbe with a Stopover at the Equator
Travel time from Bwindi to Kampala is 9 – 10 hours

After your morning breakfast we shall drive towards Kampala/Entebbe. We will have a stopover for lunch in Mbarara town, a stop shall also be made at the Equator for the equator experience and souvenirs.

General Tips on your Gorilla safaris:
- Health is key all trekkers as its key to have your safari and trek the gorillas in a heath condition. Usually clients with infectious diseases like flu are not allowed to track reason being it can easily affect the endangered giant chimps or gorillas.
- The age limit for gorilla tracking is 15 years and above.
- Booking of your gorilla and chimpanzee permits is done in advance in order for you not to miss out on the experience when permits are fully booked.
- A porter can be hired in case you want to be carried for trekking, bags. For the trekking porter or helper, a fee of US$ 15 is charged
- Your flash must be off during photography.
- The recommended distance between clients and gorillas is important for safety
