On this safari experience in Murchison Falls National Park you explore the park with a Hot Air Balloon Safari and the balloon safari becomes early morning from a set launch in the park. Clients who sleep on the north have an early morning drive to the launch area, clients on the southern banks have to catch a speed boat to the northern banks to get ready for the hot air balloon and the crew will be waiting for us right on time.
On this amazing hot air balloon safari, we shall set off for the wildlife adventure in the skies over the Murchison falls national park. The air balloon with last for 1 hour in the skies of Murchison Falls National and this is the perfect time to take nice photography with aerial views, as you land after your balloon safari you shall have bush breakfast.
Above the sea level your hot air balloon can fly as high as 10,000 feet into the skies and while on this safari for perfect views the balloon fly’s to a height of about 400 meters high into the sky of Murchison Falls National Park. Do not forget shots of sunrise views and photography while on your hot air balloon.

Pilots running the hot air balloon are experienced with adequate skills to fly the balloon and the management of the crew is licensed by Uganda Civil Aviation Authority to run the hot air balloon.

Day 1 Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park with a Stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary or Optional Game Drive
Travel time from Kampala to Murchison falls is 6 – 7 hours

You will be picked up at 7:00 am from either Kampala or Entebbe from your hotel and drive northwest of Uganda to Murchison Falls through Kampala – Gulu road with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary home to the rhinos (3 hours drive). Seeing rhinos in their natural environment and re-introduction sanctuary. The Rhino Sanctuary is the only place in the wild where rhinos can be sighted in wild. The rangers will guide you to the Rhinos after a short brief where you will sight them from a distance and the experience is memorable watching the rhinos on foot. We will leave the sanctuary and proceed back to the main road with stopover for lunch later proceeding to Murchison Falls National Park were by we shall reach late in the afternoon. Drive into the park and later in the lodge, check in relax as wait for dinner at the lodge

Day 2 Hot Air Balloon Safari / Morning / Bush Breakfast with a Game Drive, Afternoon Boat Cruise on River Nile to the Bottom of the Falls & Top of Falls Hike

You will wake up by 5:00 am and after breakfast drive out for your safari experience in the sky’s. You will get the chance to view the park from high up in the sky on your Hot Air Balloon Safari, in Murchison falls national park, observe various animals such as elephants and giraffes across the savannah. We shall land down for a nice bush breakfast and this is followed by a game drive through the park. Murchison Falls National Park has the south and northern region and they are both divided by the Nile river. The northern part that is covered by savannah and woodland and a number animal as opposed to the southern sector mainly covered by forest. After lunch drive out to the peer for a 2 Launch Cruise on River Nile which sets off at Parra docking area, to the bottom of the Murchison Falls. You will sight wild animals such as hippos in a profusion of crocodiles. Land mammals such as giraffes, elephants, antelopes drinking and cooling off the heat by the banks of river Nile. After reaching the bottom of Murchison Falls, you will board off for a hike to the top of the falls 45 minutes with a scenic view of the falls along the trail. On reaching the top you will find your guide waiting to drive you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Transfer from Murchison Falls to either Kampala or Entebbe
