On this 3 day Murchison falls National Park fly in ultimate wildlife safari you will encounter a number of activities from your pick up for scenic flight to Murchison Falls National park. The game drives on the northern side of the park sighting a number of animals right from antelope’s, elephants, buffalos, chance to see the big cats such as lions, your boat cruise safari that takes you up stream to the bottom of the falls sighting a number of game such as birds on the trees and rocks at the river banks, animals cooling off heat at the river banks not forgetting crocodiles in a profusion of hippos.
When the boat safari is finished you encounter the 45 minutes’ water fall hike to the top of the falls and while here you witness the falls and how the Nile surges into a 7-meter gorge dropping at 43 meters to form the world’s strongest falls.

Day 1 Scenic Flight from Entebbe International Airport to Murchison Falls National Park & Afternoon Game Drive through Murchison falls park
Flight time is 1-2 hours, transfer to the accommodation right on time based on location in the park

You will be Picked-up by our guide at 10:00 am for a transfer to the Entebbe International Airport. Where you will fly to Murchison Falls National Park. After landing at Pakuba Airfield located within the park and near Pakuba Safari Lodge you will meet our tour guide then drive to the lodge with in the park expect to see animals and scenic views. After relaxing and having lunch, we shall drive for an afternoon game drive on the lookout for wild game.
Other airstrips in Murchison Falls include Bugungu near Budongo Forest and Chobe near Chobe Safari Lodge and Check in is one and a half hours before departure
Day 2 Morning Game Drive, Afternoon Boat Cruise on the Nile to the Bottom of the Falls & Hike to the Top of the falls

You will wake up at 6.00 am for your early morning breakfast then head for the morning game drive which may be a good chance for sighting cats such as Lions, Hyenas and Leopard early morning. Animals such as the Buffaloes, Elephants Giraffes, Antelopes. Murchison Falls National Park has the south and northern sides which are divided by the Nile River. The northern part that is covered by savannah and woodland with a number of animals as opposed to the southern side which is mainly covered by forest. After lunch drive out for a 2 -hour Launch Cruise on River Nile which sets off at Parra docking area, to the bottom of the Murchison Falls. You will sight wild animals such as hippos in a profusion of crocodiles. Land mammals such as giraffes, elephants, antelopes drinking and cooling off the heat by the banks of river Nile. After reaching the bottom of Murchison Falls, off the boat hike to the top of the falls for about 45 minutes with a scenic view of the falls along the trail. On reaching the top you will find your guide waiting to drive you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Transfer to the Airstrip Fly back to Entebbe
Flight time, Transfer from the lodge to the airstrip for a Flight of 1-2 hours
Meal Plan: Breakfast & Lunch
We shall have breakfast at the lodge in the morning and after lunch, we shall transfer to Pakuba Airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe.

General Tips on your safari:

Domestic Flights information:
- Please contact us for flight schedules because they operate based on the seasons.
- Standard checked luggage should have: For hand luggage, 30cm height, 53cm length, by 23cm width.
- For soft bags of 60cm height, by 45cm length and 33cm width.
- Luggage allowance for domestic flights within Uganda is limited to 15 kgs per person. Additional luggage of up to 75kgs excess may be allowed at an extra cost. $ 3 is charged by the airline for each extra kilo.
- Flights to and from Murchison Falls NP and Kidepo Valley NP operate with a minimum of 4 Passengers. Please note that if the number is less than required 4 passengers, the flight rule of additional top up for missing passengers applies. - Children under 2 years of age are fly free provided as they have no seat occupancy
