2- DAY LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK SAFARI
The 2-day Lake Mburo National Park amazing getaway gives you a feel of whispers in the wilderness of Lake Mburo National Park which happens to be the closet National park not very Far from the capital city of Uganda (Kampala) it’s more of a getaway safari.
Lake Mburo National Park combines a series of activities such as the games drive, boat cruise safari, nature walks and game walks and spot fishing done by the locals since the lake has fishing villages. It is also known as the whisper of the wild. The park also has the highest concentration of zebras. Optional activities like a horse ride safari can also be booked.
The Park is smallest among Uganda’s park and its located in western part of the country along Kampala – Mbarara High way in the districts of (Mbarara, Isingiro) Lake Mburo National park is also blessed with over 5 lakes with in the national park, that is both open lakes and swampy lakes. There is also diversity of flora and fauna. Expect to see zebras since the park is also known for its zebras, antelopes like the topi and elands, hippos, crocs and a number of bird species. Your 2-day safari will be fun in the small but diverse lake Mburo National Park.
Day 1 Transfer from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park with a Game Drive & an Afternoon Boat Cruise Safari
Travel time from Kampala to Lake Mburo is 4 hours

After your morning breakfast you will be picked up, we shall drive towards Lake Mburo National Park with a stopover for lunch and then proceed to the park. While in the park you will get the chance to see groups of zebras, Impalas, topis, giraffes, buffaloes, Elands (An eland is also known to be the largest Antelope) etc. After checking in at the lodge, with a bit of relaxation you will drive out to embark on a 2 hour boat ride on Lake Mburo to sight of both land and water mammals such as Hippos, Buffaloes, birds in compliment of the scenic views with in the nature of Lake Mburo. We shall drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Game Walk in the Park & Transfer from Lake Mburo National Park to Kampala
Travel time from Lake Mburo Park to Kampala is 4 hours
Meal Plan: Breakfast & Lunch
Early morning you shall head for an early morning walk to see animals and wild nature on foot. After the experience you will return to the lodge for hot breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and go for a short game drive through the park and later embark on the journey back to Kampala capital. A stopover will be made at the Equator line and not forgetting the nice art & craft. We shall proceed to Kampala in the mood for lunch with a drop off in Kampala or Entebbe.
